AlbaSci B.V. will be attending the 1st EuroMass Imaging 2026 Spring Workshop, taking place 8–10 April 2026 at the University of Luxembourg, Belval campus. Organised by GdR-MSI (GDR2125) in collaboration with the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST), the event brings together the European mass spectrometry imaging community for three days of science, collaboration, and knowledge exchange.
The workshop marks the close of GdR-MSI’s first term and its first major international event, jointly developed with the German MSI community following initial discussions in Strasbourg in 2024.
The programme features four plenary lectures from leading researchers across Europe, covering a broad range of MSI techniques including MALDI, DESI, SIMS, and LA-ICP-MS. Sessions will span applications in biology, health, materials science, and cultural heritage, with two dedicated parallel sessions:
- Multiomics / Multimodal Single Cell
- Advanced Materials: Surface and Depth Characterisation
The event aims to strengthen international collaboration and promote the growth of the MSI network across Europe.
Benjamin Holmes will be attending throughout the workshop and looks forward to connecting with researchers, engineers, and industry professionals working in mass spectrometry imaging and surface analysis.
If you are attending, we welcome the opportunity to connect and discuss your research and instrumentation requirements.
